Cheapest unlimited eSIM for Austria? From €4.99 for 3 days (October 2026)

From just €4.99 for 3 days, Roam2Go’s unlimited eSIM for Austria is the simplest way to stay connected with mobile data and no nasty surprises during your trip. It’s especially useful if your SIM is from outside Europe — the US, the UK, Latin America or Asia — where roaming can be extremely expensive. Browse all available plans for Austria and choose the one that best suits your trip.

Who is this eSIM for? The European angle you need to know

Austria is a member of the European Union and the European Economic Area. This means that travellers with a SIM from an EU or EEA country already benefit from the roam like at home scheme: they can use their home data allowance in Austria at no extra cost.

However, take note: this agreement does not apply to UK SIMs (since Brexit), nor to those from the US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Japan, South Korea or any other country outside the EEA. If you’re travelling with one of these SIMs, international roaming charges can be very high and unpredictable.

This is where Roam2Go’s eSIM comes in: a fixed price in euros, instant activation, and zero surprises on your bill. What’s more, even European travellers who want unlimited data without eating into their home plan’s fair-use allowance will find it very handy.

Unlimited plans for Austria: 3, 5 and 7 days (and more)

Roam2Go’s unlimited plans for Austria include a daily high-speed data allowance. Once exceeded, speeds are reduced until the allowance renews the following day, with no loss of connectivity. This means you’ll always stay connected, whatever the time of day.

Here are the real prices of the available unlimited plans:

3 days: €4.99
5 days: €7.50
7 days: €10.99
10 days: €13.50
15 days: €17.95
30 days: €26.50

For a weekend getaway to Vienna or a week in the Alps, the 3- or 5-day plan is usually more than enough. If your trip is longer or you’re combining Austria with nearby destinations, the 10-, 15- or 30-day plans offer great flexibility. If one of those destinations is Hungary, there is also a guide to the unlimited eSIM for Hungary.

Fixed data plans: an alternative for specific needs

If you know your data usage will be moderate — checking maps, replying to messages, posting the occasional photo — you may not need an unlimited plan. Roam2Go also offers fixed data plans for Austria, designed for travellers with lighter needs. You’ll find all available options on the product page.

Some indicative examples of available fixed data plans:

1 GB / 7 days: €1.88

How does it compare with other options?

Other eSIM providers offer plans for Austria, but not all of them display prices transparently or in euros, which can lead to surprises at checkout. With Roam2Go, the price you see is the price you pay: no currency conversions, no hidden costs, and support available should you need it.

You can also purchase and install the eSIM from home, before you travel. By the time you land in Austria, you’ll already be connected. No need to hunt for a shop, a physical SIM card, or an airport counter.
