Unlimited eSIM for Bali, Indonesia: 10, 15, 30 days (2026)
Quick answer

An unlimited eSIM for Bali and the rest of Indonesia costs €13.95 for 10 days at Roam2Go: every day you get 1 GB at high speed, and once you use it up, the speed drops to 5 Mbps and you stay connected. The 15-day plan costs €19.95 and the 30-day plan €33.95, VAT included. If you reach 10 GB in a single day, the speed drops to 384 kbps until full speed returns. There is also an “Unlimited Plus” plan with no daily allowance: €19.99 for 10 days. They are prepaid, data-only plans, and validity starts the first time the eSIM connects to a network in Indonesia.

What is the difference? With “Unlimited”, every day you get 1 GB at high speed; once you use it up, the speed drops to 5 Mbps, and if you reach 10 GB in a single day, it drops to 384 kbps until full speed returns. “Unlimited Plus” has no daily allowance and the connection does not stop either. In both cases, the actual speed depends on the network in each area.

Prices in euros, VAT included. If the shop shows you another currency (US dollars, Canadian dollars or pounds sterling, depending on where you connect from), you see the final amount before paying. Unlimited or a 20 GB plan for a month?

If you use little data in a month (mostly maps, messaging and email), a fixed data plan may be enough: 20 GB for 30 days costs €12.95. The 30-day unlimited plan (€33.95) fits if you use your phone every day for work or social media: every day you get 1 GB at high speed, and after that, 5 Mbps. Both are data-only and start counting days with the first connection in Indonesia.

Spending a month there: digital nomads, students and long stays

  • A whole month with the same rule every day. The 30-day “Unlimited” plan costs €33.95: every day you get 1 GB at high speed; after that, 5 Mbps, and if you reach 10 GB in a single day, 384 kbps until full speed returns. The 30-day “Unlimited Plus” plan, with no daily allowance, costs €45.99.
  • With your laptop. You can use the eSIM’s data on your laptop, through your phone, with both types of plan. With “Unlimited”, what the laptop uses counts against the same daily allowance: for long video calls or uploading large files, do it within the high-speed allowance or over your accommodation’s Wi-Fi.
  • Staying longer than 30 days. The unlimited plans for Indonesia cannot be topped up: when your plan ends, you buy another one (10, 15 or 30 days, depending on how many days you have left) and install it as a new eSIM, over Wi-Fi.
  • Bali and the rest of the country. The plan is for Indonesia, not just Bali: if you move on to other islands, it is the same plan. Actual coverage and speed depend on the network in each area and can be weaker away from populated areas; there are more details in the article on mobile coverage in Indonesia.

What about roaming with your home plan?

The EU “roam like at home” rule applies in the EU countries, in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and in Moldova and Ukraine. Indonesia is not covered, and the European Commission warns that roaming outside the EU/EEA, data roaming in particular, can be expensive. Wherever your SIM is from, what you pay to roam in Indonesia is set by your own operator, so check it before you leave. With a prepaid eSIM you know what you will pay before you travel.

How the eSIM works: installation and validity

  1. At home: check that your phone supports eSIM (there is a device check on the product page) and that it is not locked to an operator, buy the plan and install the eSIM over Wi-Fi. The instructions arrive by email.
  2. Validity: it starts the first time the eSIM connects to a network in Indonesia, not when you install it.
  3. Data roaming on the eSIM: switch it on before you go. It is only a setting, and on the eSIM it costs nothing extra.
  4. When you arrive: choose the eSIM line for mobile data. If it is not online after a couple of minutes, restart the phone.
  5. Your usual SIM: turn data roaming off on that line. Outside the EU, roaming for calls and texts is often switched off and you have to ask your operator for it; if it is on, the line can receive calls and texts, but in Indonesia your operator can charge you for calls you make, calls you receive and texts.

You can call home through WhatsApp or another app, using the eSIM’s data and keeping your usual number: these plans are data only.

Refunds and the other conditions, including how the daily allowance of the unlimited plans works, are in the terms and conditions.

Frequently asked questions

How much is an unlimited eSIM for Bali for 10, 15 or 30 days?+
At Roam2Go, the “Unlimited” plan for Indonesia, which includes Bali, costs €13.95 for 10 days, €19.95 for 15 days and €33.95 for 30 days, VAT included. “Unlimited Plus”, with no daily allowance, costs €19.99 for 10 days, €27.99 for 15 days and €45.99 for 30 days. Prices checked on 14 October 2026; the product page shows the current ones.
What does unlimited mean on these plans?+
That the connection does not stop because of the data you use. With “Unlimited”, every day you get 1 GB at high speed; once you use it up, the speed drops to 5 Mbps, and if you reach 10 GB in a single day, it drops to 384 kbps until full speed returns. “Unlimited Plus” has no daily allowance and does not stop either; the actual speed depends on the network.
Is an unlimited plan or a fixed data plan better for a month in Bali?+
It depends on how much data you use. If you mostly use maps and messaging, 20 GB for 30 days (€12.95) may be enough. If you use your phone every day for work or social media, the 30-day unlimited plan (€33.95) gives you 1 GB at high speed every day and, after that, 5 Mbps.
When do the plan’s days start counting?+
The first time the eSIM connects to a network in Indonesia, not when you install it. You can install it at home, over Wi-Fi, days before your trip.
Can I use the data on my laptop?+
Yes. According to these plans’ details, you can use the eSIM’s data on a laptop or another device. With “Unlimited”, what that device uses counts against the same daily allowance. It also depends on your phone and on the network.
Can I get a refund?+
You have 30 days from purchase to ask for a full refund if you have not used the eSIM (it has not connected to a network or used any data), even if you have already installed it. If it does not connect at your destination, we find a solution or give you your money back. Any other case is looked at individually: write to us.
